How long does the Fantasmic show last? Our resort's shuttle leaves Epcot at 9:45, but the show doesn't begin until 9:00 - would that give us enough time to watch the entire show or would ibe better for us just to bring our personal vehicle?

    Hi Holly,

You mentioned Fantasmic! which is held at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You also say that your shuttle is leaving from Epcot at 9:45 where Illuminations is the nighttime finale.  I'll address both just in case so we'll make sure you're covered either way.

Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios lasts approximately 25 minutes.  The theater can accommodate well over 7,000 Guests so it can take awhile for the theater to clear following the performance.  And as you might imagine, that is also the time the masses head out of the park for the evening.  If you were sitting near the exit of the theater and walked really fast without being in a sea of people and no last minute restroom stops, you might have a shot.  But honestly, if your shuttle is leaving at 9:45 p.m., you may be pushing it.  If this is the case, I would strongly consider driving my own vehicle. Even though parking is $14.00 per day, that's likely less expensive than the cost of a taxi to get back to your resort.

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (the nighttime finale at Epcot) lasts approximately 12 minutes and can be viewed anywhere around the World Showcase Lagoon.  If you were positioned on the side nearest Future World and hurried, you could probably make your shuttle. If you think you may want to take your time and do some last minute shopping on your way out, I'd opt for driving my own car.

I hope this helps answer your question. If I've totally misunderstood your question or you need further assistance, please feel free to visit me again.  Wishing you many magical memories :-)  Allison
