About how long should we expect to spend in Animal Kingdom with a 3 year old and a 10 year old. We are mostly going for the animals. Are there any shows that would interest a 3 year old? Thanks!

    Hi, there!

I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom with your kiddos this Spring. My family just loves spending a wild day at this Theme Park!

How much time you spend at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is really dependent on your family. My family has always devoted a full morning and evening there, with an afternoon break at our Resort hotel. We typically arrive for park opening and head straight for Kilimanjaro Safaris. Afterward, we catch a performance of Festival of the Lion King. Then, we enjoy a quick lunch at Harambe Market before making our way to Asia for Kali River Rapids. Keep in mind, there are many stops between to take in the exotic sights and sounds around us! We travel back to our Resort hotel room for a rest, and return to the park in the evening to visit The Boneyard (my little paleontologist's favorite stop!), and to enjoy the incredible nighttime entertainment.  If the animals are your priority, I bet you could easily spend an entire day at Disney's Animal Kingdom with all the amazing animal encounters available to Guests! And while perhaps not on your priority list, you really must take time to explore Pandora - The World of Avatar; it's stunning!

Chelsa, the shows at Disney's Animal Kingdom are top-notch and perfect for your 3-year old! Be sure to catch at least one.

I hope this was helpful. Thanks for stopping by!
