About how long should we allow for the Jedi Training experience. We have 3 grandsons age 4, 6, and 8.

    Greetings David,

I send this message from the secret base of the Rebel Forces. The Jedi Knights anxiously await the arrival of your young recruits. They sense that the Force is strong with your grandsons. Not all recruits will be selected for training - punctuality is a must. Be prepared to arrive before park opening. Once the park opens, head straight to the sign-up location.

Should you want to gain access to the sign-up location earlier, consider this. Every recruit needs nourishment. Double-check to make sure there are no early morning Extra Magic Hours. If there are not, make a dining reservation for Hollywood & Vine for a time between 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.  Then, as soon as you enter the park, head to the sign-up location - if you can do the pre-park opening dining reservation to enter the park early, you should be able to sign-up before the crowds descend. Present your recruits at the sign-up location, select a training time and then head to breakfast. Check your surroundings to be sure that the evil forces of the Dark Side remain afar.

Once you have your training time, you will also receive instructions. We always allot about an hour for the entire experience. Recruits must be present 30 minutes prior to the training time, then the training is about 20 minutes. Since you will have to make your Fast Pass+ selections prior to knowing your training time, review the training schedule for the day before you arrive. Consider a few time options that will work with your Fast Pass+ schedule. And know your Fast Pass+ schedule when you go to sign-up for training.

David, I speak in hushed tones so that our base is not discovered. Know that training can be intense. Younger recruits may falter. Do what you can to prepare them. We need them to defeat the Dark Side!

May the Force be with you!
