Hi!! How long does it take to get from the airport to the polynesian resort on the dme. at 11am? I want to plan a character lunch, but not sure what time to schedule it for. I dont know what time I will be arriving at the resort. Help!!!!...

Hello Irene!  Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel.  What a great question you posted and I know exactly how you are feeling.  I always make a habit of allowing an hour and a half to travel from the airport to my resort on Disney's Magical Express.  I gather that 11:00 a.m. is when you will be landing. So, I would just round up my time to place my arrival at the resort to 1:00 p.m.  Ok, I know I said one hour and a half, but I always keep traffic in mind and "that something" that always seems to happen when you are on a schedule.  I would start setting my reservation from 2:00 p.m. on.  This will give you time to check-in in order to receive your tickets, room number and answers to any questions you may have.  It will also give you some time to freshen up and the travel time needed to make it to your restaurant.  I would say that 2:00 p.m. is the magic hour.
I hope this helps ease your mind just a bit.  If you are anything like me, you are still fretting about it, but I know you will be fine.  Please come back and visit us again should any new questions come up.  Have a magical day!
