If I lock the tickets in on my app, can they still be used via the actual ticket or pulled back from the original owner?

    Hiya, Richard,

My family and I frequently switch between using our printed theme park tickets and the digital versions stored in the Disneyland app. If you are starting with Disney eTickets, you may scan them into the Disneyland app even before you arrive at the resort. When an eTicket is activated and used for admission at a theme park entrance, it is converted to a regular ticket in the app and an equivalent, printed ticket is issued to you at the entrance turnstile. With your ticket linked to your Disneyland Resort account in the app, you may use either the ticket in the app or the printed ticket for readmission at park entrances or for redeeming Disney FASTPASS.

Tony’s Tip: Your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets may be linked with as many accounts as you like. The first time you scan a ticket into an account, it is locked to that account and can only be removed by a Disneyland Resort Cast Member. When you link it with additional accounts, it can be removed and added again, as desired, from those accounts.

Linking your tickets to multiple accounts or devices can be convenient if you add Disney MaxPass to your tickets. With your tickets linked in multiple devices, whether using different accounts or the same account, the members of your party can take turns making Disney FASTPASS selections with Disney MaxPass.

I’m a huge fan of using Disney MaxPass for making Disney FASTPASS selections at the Disneyland Resort. My first FASTPASS selection of the day at Disneyland Park is usually Space Mountain. In Disney California Adventure Park, I like to start with a FASTPASS for Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! or Toy Story Midway Mania! Many Guests choose Radiator Springs Racers to begin their day. However, my family and I often like to save that attraction for after sunset. We like to experience it when it is beautifully lit up at night. Using MaxPass, we can keep checking on the current times being distributed and make that preferred selection all from the convenience of a mobile device.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Richard. If you have any more questions, I hope to hEAR from you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
