Hi there Jennifer!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. With five days to spend at the Happiest Place on Earth, you are going to have so many opportunities to make magical memories with your family. I'm also glad you have already started looking into using the
Disneyland mobile app. This app is a convenient way to prepare for your trip by letting you review park maps and familiarize yourself with the Resort. It also will really come in handy on your vacation, because you can link park tickets, Disney MaxPass, Disney PhotoPass, and you can view attraction wait times, Character meeting locations, and make dining reservations!
As soon as you have a barcode for your ticket, which can even be found on your
eTicket if purchased online, you are able to link these to the Disneyland app. All you have to do is click on your account icon at the bottom of the app, go to "My Tickets," and click the "+" icon in the upper right corner. From there click "Link Tickets & Passes" to scan your ticket barcode or manually enter the ticket ID number. You can link everyone in your family to one account making it super easy to select FASTPASS selections for everyone using Disney MaxPass. Speaking of Disney MaxPass, if you haven't already added this feature to your tickets when they were purchased, you can do so right from the app once your tickets are linked and you enter the park. Just go to your account and click "Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass." You can then purchase this for everyone in your family! We just did this last month and it was so easy for my family to use.
I hope this helped, and have a Fantasmic day!
