Our little princess has tree nut allergies. Which cinnamon rolls and other breakfast pastries are nut free?

    Hi Justin,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know that your princess must be excited to plan her royal visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

One of our girls has nut allergies so we have experience navigating allergy-friendly dining in the parks. Since dining options or food sources can change at restaurants, I hesitate to list which pastries are safe for little ones with tree nut allergies. Instead, we note the allergies on our dining reservations. When we arrive to the restaurant, the cast member who serves us always confirms the allergies and then gives us an allergy-friendly menu that lists which items are safe for certain allergies. On several occasions, the chef has also come out to speak with us. If you are dining at a quick-service restaurant and/or have not made a dining reservation, speak with a cast member in that restaurant about the allergy and ask for an allergy-friendly menu!

On our most recent trip, our daughter with the nut allergy was able to eat pastries at some locations. She prefers to eat at buffet-style restaurants because there are so many different options and, even if there are a few that she cannot eat, there is still plenty for her to enjoy. We had tea in the Garden View Tea Room and because of her nut allergy, the chef prepared a special pastry for the dessert portion of her tea service. Our princess was so tickled!

Justin, I also suggest that you email the Special Dietary Requests team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com if you have other specific questions. Remember also that you can bring your own allergy-friendly snacks to the parks!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
