How are the Little Mermaid Standard rooms at Art of Animation? We have a family of 4 and a another family of 3 adults looking to stay there to save money. We usually stay at Caribbean beach. Will we be disappointed? Can you compare the two or offer advice?

Hi, Dave! It sounds like you've got a great vacation coming up with a big group!

I had a chance to stay in a Little Mermaid standard room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and the set-up is exactly the same as the other Value Resorts on Walt Disney World property. There are two double beds in each room along with lots of little surprises all throughout the room. You'll feel as though you've stepped right into the movie with all of the "Under the Sea" theming. The larger than life characters around the property are just amazing! I'm not sure if there are children included in your party, but this Resort is the perfect place for dreamers of all ages! Another cool thing about this Resort is that they have their own Disney transportation.

I absolutely love the theming of the Caribbean Beach Resort as well. The tropical paradise is definitely one of my favorites and I can see why you usually stay there. The Pirate-themed rooms are pretty awesome as well. As awesome as it is, I really don't think you'll be disappointed with a Little Mermaid standard room. I'd also like to encourage you to check out allears.net for lots of detailed information on the room size and pictures of the rooms as well. Which ever Resort you decide to go with, I'm quite certain that you'll be real happy with the choice as they are both amazing!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
