    Maria from South Africa Asked

My little girls 4years and 5years love fresh fruit. Are there fresh fruit available in the parks and at the hotels? Available on Dining Plans?

    Jambo Maria!

I have three kiddos and they also really love fresh fruit and vegetables. Although they love foods like Mickey Pretzels and kid food staples such as Chicken Nuggets and macaroni and cheese, there is nothing like a delicious bowl of pineapple or cantaloupe to feed their appetites!

One of the things that I love most about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is that they have really gone above and beyond to make sure that there are healthy choices throughout the Theme Parks and at the Resort hotels. At virtually every place that we visit we are able to find plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables for our kids. Some of my favorite places to find healthy options are Harambe Fruit Market at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Prince Eric’s Village Market in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. Most of the fruit options at both the Theme Parks and Resort hotels can be purchased using a snack credit from your Disney Dining Plan. Also with most of the kids meals you are able to choose sides like fruit and yogurt and also milk to drink! If you are ever in need of additional help locating fresh goodies, simply ask the nearest Cast Member and they will be more than happy to assist you!
