I am a little conflicted on the Dining Plans. We will be at WDW in late May and I am traveling with my 2 daughters (3 & 6) and three other adults. My six year old has severe food allergies. Do I go with a dining plan or not?

    Hi Juli!

Thank you for your question. It can be difficult to find great dining for anyone with a severe food allergy, let alone one of your own children. All Walt Disney World chefs take pride in providing a one of a kind dining experience for all Guests, including those with severe food allergies.  With the Disney Dining Plan, it's very easy to make sure that your daughter has a meal free of any issues but full of flavor. When you make your dining reservations, all you have to do is indicate that someone in your party has a food allergy and be sure to list every allergy. You will also need to alert your server and the manager of any food allergies upon your arrival to the restaurant. For buffets, the chef will be able to walk you through the line and indicate what can be eaten based upon your daughter's allergies. For even more information on all of the accommodations WDW chefs can make for Guests with food allergies, visit the Special Dietary Requests page.

I hope that answered your question, Juli. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
