    Amy from NY Asked

Is there a list of rides/attractions that have seizure warnings?

    Hi Amy!

Thanks so much for your question. Disney understands the importance of safety, and wants to ensure guests have the most magical experience imaginable with safety always at the forefront. For attractions, I do not recall verbiage specific to those who have epilepsy or may be prone to seizures, but I do know they have health advisories for attractions that have big drops, thrill rides, are loud in nature, or just plain scary (ex: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror).

What they specifically say as it relates to all attractions is the following:

"Please use caution when visiting Walt Disney World Resort if you are aware of a specific health condition. Some experiences and attractions may not be appropriate for some Guests with health conditions."

As someone who has a family member who is prone to seizures, there are a number of different "triggers" they must constantly be aware of at all time, especially when visiting a theme park. My suggestion is each guest should use their best judgement before getting on any attraction, particularly if they have a medical condition. As with my family member, they consult with their physician constantly, getting advice and insight, even before going to "The Happiest Place on Earth." They should talk with his or her medical specialist before visiting Disney World, to make every precaution to ensure their health is not at risk.

Thanks again, and have a magical day!
