A Ride in the Teacups

Is there a list of rides that pregnant moms can’t go on? That I could keep in my back pocket. And do pregnant moms find it too tiring and need to rent a scooter or figure out alternatives to getting around?

Hi again, Melissa! It is so nice to chat more with you about your upcoming trip!

The Disneyland Resort makes it really easy for expectant mothers to find out which attractions they should avoid for safety and health reasons. You can filter the Attractions page by "Expectant Mothers Advisory" which is found under the "Accessibility & Advisories" tab. This will show you a list of attractions you should skip this time around, but it is a rather short list. There are plenty of other attractions you can enjoy if you feel up to it. When you arrive at the entrance of the attraction there will also be a sign that lists any associated advisories in case you are in any doubt.

While touring the parks, it's important that you schedule some down time. One of the best ways to do this is to plan to see some shows during the day that will get you off your feet for a while. Frozen - Live at the Hyperion, Mickey and the Magical Map, and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln are great options. You will also want to stay hydrated, so feel free to bring in a water bottle that you can refill throughout the day at drinking fountains or by asking for a free cup of ice water at quick service dining locations. If you do feel that you are struggling to get around, electric conveyance vehicles (ECVs) are available to rent right outside Disneyland Park for a daily fee.

Please visit us again if you have any other questions about your upcoming trip. Have a fabulous day!
