In the list of new things coming to Disney in 2019- the characters Mike and Sulley will be available for meet and greet starting 1/18/19. Does anyone know how long this will last? We have a trip planned in July and hoping they will remain there for a while

Hi, Nicole!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You chose a great time to plan a Walt Disney World vacation!  There are so many new and exciting things happening at Walt Disney World this year.  From Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to the Disney Skyliner Gondola system to fun new character greetings, 2019 is going to be quite a year for the Walt Disney World Resort!

You heard correctly, Nicole.  One of the new and limited-time experiences coming to Walt Disney World Resort does involve taking a step through a door to the monster world.  Mike and Sulley from Pixar's Monsters, Inc. will be greeting guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios, starting on January 18, 2019.  While no ending date for this monstrous meet and greet has been announced so far, keep checking back with Disney Parks Blog for all the latest Walt Disney World news.  Being as this year marks the 30th anniversary of Disney's Hollywood Studios, I have a feeling there will be lots of magical things happening there all year long!

    See ya real soon!
