Family grabbing snacks from cart

Is there a list of current Specialty Popcorn containers other than the Mickey Balloon and are they refillable? I read on a blog that the yellow one was not refillable, is this true? We are trying to figure out which park to go and get our favorite.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vickie! It sounds like you share similar tastes with my family… they are always asking for popcorn when we’re in the parks. The salty crunchy snack that won’t melt in the heat is the way to their hearts!

Now about that special Yellow Balloon Popcorn Bucket! It’s a Disneyland exclusive offering for the moment (they have the coolest buckets on the West Coast!!), though you can find the Red Balloon at Walt Disney World Resort. I just saw the Red one at Epcot near Journey Into Imagination with Figment this week! And as far as the refills go, refills are a Walt Disney World Resort perk. Sometimes Disneyland will offer refillable popcorn buckets and drink mugs, but this is for Annual Passholders only (which is why that Yellow bucket was not refillable). During special times, there will be a special designated refill bucket for Annual Passholders in Disneyland Resort, but you can count on the Walt Disney World Resort refills (for your length of stay) when you purchase. Be sure to ask the friendly Cast Member that’s helping you with your transaction. I have heard tell of a glowing Lotus Blossom bucket at Disney's Animal Kingdom this month, as well. It’s pink and pretty and has a neat lid; it may be something you want to keep your eye out for. Specialty Popcorn Buckets always appear unannounced; think of it as pixie dust for your trip, so feel free to ask fellow guests where they may have snagged their treasured bucket.

If I can help you find other belly-filling snacks for your trip, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
