I have linked tickets to my Disney account. How can I tell how many unused days are left? Also, If I purchase an annual pass and link it to my account, will my unused days (no expiration date on these), have to be used up before the annual pass starts?

    Hi Keith,

    Great questions!

If you'd like to find out how many days remain on an existing theme park ticket, you can send an e-mail to ticket.usage@disneyworld.com.  Include the following information in your e-mail and you should hear back from a Cast Member within 14 business days.
    • A scan or photograph of the tickets (front and back)
    • A scan or photograph of a government issued ID
    • Your full name
    • A daytime phone number where you can be reached

The email size, including attachments, cannot exceed 2 MB, so you may need to compress your files or send more than one message.  If you happen to be at Walt Disney World, you can also stop by a ticket window at any of the theme parks or water parks, at Guest Relations at Disney Springs or any Disney Resort hotel concierge desk for assistance.

As for the second part of your question, you have a few options.  The first is to call the My Disney Experience help line (you can find that number here) and they can access your account to prioritize your tickets, which will ensure that your Annual Pass is used first.  Another option is for you to go into your My Disney Experience account yourself, go to the MagicBands and Cards page, select the ticket you do not want to use while you have your Annual Pass and on the next page you will see an option to mark "MagicBand is Not In Use."  By checking that box, you will deactivate that card temporarily, which means it cannot be used until you go back in and reactivate it.  Again, you can also stop by a ticket window outside any of the theme parks at Walt Disney World and a Cast Member would be happy to help you with prioritizing your tickets.

I hope that helps, Keith.  Have a Disney day!
