I linked my park tickets to the my Disney experience app but am staying outside of Disney starting Nov 5th. How do I set up the app to know that my first day is the 5th so that I can select fast passes from them

Hi, David! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for visiting us and bringing us this great question!

You must be looking forward to your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! When you have a Disney Theme Park Ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account, but no Disney Resort hotel reservation, you will be able to make FastPass+ Reservations from any date 30 days out, but only for the number of days available on your Disney Theme Park Ticket. For example, 30 days before November 5th is October 6th (I believe), so you should be able to start making your FastPass+ Reservations (3 per day) for November 5th on October 6th. If you have additional days on your Disney Theme Park Ticket, you will have to go back the following days to add them to your My Disney Experience account (October 7th for November 6th, etc). Don’t forget to make your Advanced Dining Reservations if you haven’t already done so, as these can be done up to 180 days in advance!

One of the great benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is being able to make FastPass+ Reservations a full 60 days before arrival, not to mention Extra Magic Hours and more!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and please remember to visit us again soon,
