    Robert from MI Asked

Can I link WDW tickets purchased through General Motors discount program to wrist bands? Also does it make sense to do this? We are not staying at a Disney resort.

    Hi Robert,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Although I’m not familiar with the specific discount program that you were able to use to purchase your Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets, based on my experience you should absolutely link them to your My Disney Experience account. That way, you’ll be able to make your family’s FastPass+ selections up to 30 days before your visit, which will definitely help cut down on your wait times.

Please note that you won’t get a MagicBand with your tickets, but rather an admission card to use throughout your visit. If you’d like to use a MagicBand (because they’re pretty cool!) there are some available for purchase at Guest Relations when you pick up your tickets, or even some special themed ones available at several merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a Magical Day,

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
