If I link my tickets to my WDW account will my tickets be considered in use? Or is the first day considered when we actually go to the park and scan them?

    Hi, Sarah!

I hope you are enjoying planning your vacation! We are here to help answer any questions you may have regarding your ticket media or My Disney Experience Account.

Having your tickets linked does not activate them or put them in "use" - that does not happen until the first day you use them to enter a theme park. Having them linked to your account before they are used does allow for them to be linked to your MagicBand, and enables you to book your FastPass+ selections at the 60 day mark if you are staying on property, and the 30 day mark if you are staying off-property.

I hope this helps, Sarah! Please let us know if you should have any additional questions as you continue planning and preparing for your magical vacation.
