Can you link a pass purchased from AAA to a magic band? My family has APs but my mom is coming with us and she only needs a length of stay pass, but I want her to use a magic band. We are staying at the BW so she should be able to- right?

    Hey Lori-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad you asked about adding tickets purchased from a ticket reseller and linking them to a MagicBand.

Yes, as long as you have a valid them park ticket and a MagicBand you may take the identification codes and link them to your mom’s My Disney Experience account. Once they are linked she should be able to schedule FastPass+ attractions. If you want to make FastPass+ selections for her then connect her to your Disney account. This will allow you to include her on your itinerary.

If you have any issues, a friendly Cast Member can help you online or by phone, at the concierge desk in Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, at Downtown Disney Marketplace’s Guest Relations or Guest Relations within the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

If she needs access to your room just make sure she is listed on the hotel reservation. A Cast Member should scan her MagicBand when she arrives allowing her touch point access room entry.

I hope this helps you have a fantastic trip to the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
