How are the lines for princesses that are not FP options, like Mulan, Pocahontas, Tiana? We are going early Aug. 5 y.o. wants autographs from many, but we don't want to spend our whole trip in princess lines. We will be at Akershus for lunch 1 day.

    Hello, Gena!

My 6 year old daughter is also a big fan of the Disney princesses, so we always visit with many of our royal friends on each Walt Disney World vacation. Your lunch reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall should help you meet with several popular princesses, as well as the FastPass+ character meet 'n' greet opportunities that are available. I especially recommend the Anna and Elsa meet 'n' greet at Princess Fairytale Hall, as this cool experience can see long lines. The standby lines to meet with Mulan, Pocahontas, Tiana and others can vary greatly depending on crowd size, popularity and other factors that are really difficult to predict in advance.

My daughter and I tend to play the character greetings by ear, and if the lines appear short, we hop right in and wait. Make sure to check the Times Guide or free My Disney Experience app for greeting times and locations at each of the theme parks.

I hope that you and your family have a royally wonderful Walt Disney World vacation, Gena! If you have any other questions before your trip, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Have a magical day!
