Got on line 30 days (first we could) out and tried to book the Seve Drawfs Mine Train as soon as time allowed us to pick and were unable to get anything for week beginning January 31 for the days we would be there. Now what can we do?

    Hi Joyce!

Thanks for sending your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am sorry to hear that you were unable to secure the FastPass+ selection you desired. FastPass+ is open to guests staying at the Walt Disney World Resorts 60 days in advance and 30 days in advance to ticket holders. However all hope is not lost! Fortunately, the week of January 31 is typically not very busy with respect to crowd levels. You always have the option of using the stand-by line.  I have found that at times the lines for FastPass+ can be longer than the stand-by line. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, check out the Extra Magic Hours for the days you will be visiting. There are some morning and evening hours available only to Resort Guests.

My recommendation would be for you to arrive at Magic Kingdom before the park opens. Once the park opens, I recommend that you head straight to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. If that's not feasible, consider heading towards the attraction during parade times or during the fireworks, when the masses are viewing these shows. You can also check out the waiting times for the attractions throughout the day using the My Disney Experience App on your smartphone.

My last recommendation would be to schedule a breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest for 8:00 a.m. or as soon as the restaurant opens. Since this is a quick service meal, you can essentially have breakfast quickly and head over to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train around the time the park is scheduled to open. The best part is that this attraction is literally next to this restaurant!

    Hope this helps!

It has been a pleasure assisting you Joyce! If I can be of further service, please do not hesitate to send me your questions!

    Happy Planning!
