Is there a limit for Disney MaxPass sold per day? Can we purchase MaxPass without having our tickets physically?

    Hi there Lisette!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm excited you are planning on maximizing your days at the Disneyland Resort with Disney MaxPass. This service has really improved our efficiency by giving us more time to create magic together as a family at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

I have never come across anyone saying they were unable to obtain MaxPass, though FASTPASS reservations themselves can run out during the day on popular attractions. To ensure you will have access to MaxPass you can add it to your online ticket order when you purchase your theme park tickets. Alternatively you can purchase MaxPass as soon as you enter either theme park in the morning. All you have to do is link your ticket to the Disneyland app and from the app select "Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass." Popular attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy -  Mission: BREAKOUT! and Radiator Springs Racers tend to run out of FASTPASSES sooner, but you will be able to see when this happens as FASTPASS return times get later and later. Eventually when all of the FASTPASS slots are given away, your only option for those attractions will be to enter the standby line.

Since Disney MaxPass also includes unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass pictures throughout the day, make sure you take advantage of these opportunities when you see them. Don't forget to ask the photographers if any Magic Shots are available as well.

I hope you have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
