    Linda from CA Asked

How likely is it to get a weekend day reservation with the flex passport?

    Hey Linda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is such an exciting time to be an Annual Passholder at the Disneyland Resort!

My family has the Flex Passport and we are loving the flexibility it provides for us. You’ll have “Good to Go” days and “Reservation Required” days. The weekend days are typically the “Reservation Required” days. While never guaranteed, I would say getting a weekend reservation is very likely. In the past few months I’ve only seen a couple of days where reservations were unavailable. The one that stands out was the last weekend of the Christmas festivities in the parks. I will say that the last day of the festivities, Monday, was a “Good to Go” day so if you really really wanted to go one last time to see all the holiday magic, you could have gone on that Monday without even making a reservation. I thought that was a really nice gesture for Flex Passholders. If there is an important date that is a must do, then I highly recommend making your reservation exactly 30 days ahead of time. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was one of the most anticipated attractions coming to the Disneyland Resort, and my favorite attraction by far. It officially opened to guests on a Friday, a “Good to Go” day, and the next two days, Saturday and Sunday, were open for reservations up until the day before. So even a big event like that had reservations open for Flex Passports.

The Disneyland Resort has been really stepping up their game for Annual Passholders. The Alfresco Tasting Terrace is now open exclusively for Annual Passholders and their guests to enjoy. Annual Passholders also received pre-sale access to purchase tickets to the highly anticipated Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. Annual Passholders were able to purchase tickets before the general public, which is a really nice perk. Be on the lookout for other exclusive offers just for Annual Passholders.

Well Linda, we’re just getting started for all the fun for Annual Passholders. Stay in touch with the Disney Parks Blog so you don’t miss any of the action.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
