We have a very lightweight easy to travel double stroller, however it doesn't handle well on cobblestone or uneven/bumpy terrain. Do any of the Disney parks have a lot of cobblestone? Just want to make sure it is wise to bring our stroller and not rent.

    Hi Cheryl,

The stroller dilemma - been there, done that!  If your stroller is lightweight and easy to fold, I recommend bringing it.  With two children, you'll want something that will help you maneuver around the airport and the resorts, as well as within the parks.  Rental strollers at Disney World are not allowed outside of the parks, themselves.

There are some uneven pathways in certain sections of Animal Kingdom to make it seem more realistic.  Likewise, Magic Kingdom and Epcot have cobblestone streets in some places.  Having said that, there is usually a way to avoid the bumpy terrain.  For instance, when you're walking down Main Street USA, take the sidewalks if the streets seem to bumpy.

You should be fine with your stroller from home, but if you get completely frustrated inside a park, consider parking your double stroller and renting one just to use in the park.  I can tell you from experience, that I always bring my own stroller.  I did end up renting a double stroller one day in Animal Kingdom, but that might have been because my umbrella strollers were wet - there was a lot of rain on that trip.

If you would take your stroller to Roger Williams Park Zoo for the day, then you'll be perfectly fine at Walt Disney World.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
