Lets talk Disney Quest-DH can't do "intense simulation rides". He did ride Star Tours & Toy Story Mania - how do those 2 compare to DQ? How do they compare to Soarin'?? Which is more intense? Should we try Soarin? I cant get DH sick on our

Hi Mary! Oh, we can't get your husband sick -- that would be no fun!

I've consulted with my fellow moms, Margaret and Andi, on your question as they have more experience with DisneyQuest than I do. First, you should know that although the simulation rides are the main attractions at DisneyQuest, there are also many other non-simulation activities your husband could enjoy, such as video games, animation workshops, and a recording studio. Many of the simulation rides at Disney Quest, such as Cyber Space Mountain, are more intense than Toy Story Mania and Star Tours. Some attractions, such as Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride and Ride the Comix, require you to wear 3D headgear which can make some people feel ill, and your husband may not enjoy them. Other simulator rides, such as the Virtual Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean, are fairly tame with only mild motion, and your husband would probably be okay on them.

Soarin' is a magnificent ride that simulates hang gliding over California. Your seat lifts off the ground and you feel a gentle breeze as you view landscape scenes on a giant screen. It's a very tame, and beautiful, attraction, and if your husband was able to tolerate Star Tours, which does make some people feel ill, I think he would not have a problem with Soarin'.  (If any parts of Soarin' start to bother him, most people find that they feel better after closing their eyes for a few moments.)

Hope this helps, and I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
