Mom And Son On Run

I am leaving my DH & DS2 at home to spend some extra time with my 10 & 11 year old sons. My worry...is there anything ideas for if one doesn't want to go on a ride and the other does? With just one adult it makes that tough.

    Tammy,

I would love to give you a magical reply that solves your problem, but I am afraid that I don't know of one. However, hear is a idea that friends with older kids have been very happy with. Hopefully it will be something that you like.

Get in line for a ride as a group. When you get close to boarding, ask the cast member where a family member who doesn't want to ride can go, and they will show you the quick exit door. You can wait in line with the riding child right up to that point, and then wait for him by the exit. Sometimes they will let you get all the way to the very front, where he would board even, though that is not always possible, or allowed.

Not very exciting for you, and certainly not ideal. But it will certainly help you enjoy more rides, and I bet the kids will start to reconsider rides they otherwise were opposed to by the time they get up to the front of the line.

    I hope this helps.
