hi moms leaving in 73 days can't wait. i have a 7 yo and he loves to play games would it be a good idea to spend the first day we get there at disney quest in down town disney. and do they charge to get in and to play games.

Hi Ashanti! I am excited for you and your son's upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. DisneyQuest Indoor Active Theme Park would be an awesome way to begin your vacation. The facility has 5 floors of video games dating from the very first video games ever made to the most up to date virtual experiences. Your 7 year old will love the variety of games that are offered including actual rides and an area for younger visitors. Some of the rides have height requirements but most rides will accommodate your son. The cost for an adult ticket (age 10 and over) is $41 and $35 for a youth ticket (age 3 to 9). Prices are subject to change. The cost of admission includes most activities and games. If you have purchased park tickets with the Water Park Fun & More Option, your admission to DisneyQuest is included!

Your son will love the being able to freely play any video game without having to deposit quarters or tokens. One of my favorite activities is the Animation Academy where you and your son can actually draw your favorite Disney characters step by step. If you are going to spend the day there and you have the Disney Dining Plan, there is a great cafe, FoodQuest, where you can eat lunch with one of your counter service meals.

Just a note, DisneyQuest can be a full day activity. If you are planning to spend part of the evening at one of the parks for Extra Magic Hours, you may need to take a breather at your resort. I hope your vacation is a magical one!
