We are leaving on April 27, 2014 on the Wonder going to Castaway Cay and Cozumel. I am trying to find an excursion at Cozumel that is not beach related and not alot of walking for a 5 year old. Any ideas? TIA

Welcome aboard, Becky! This spring is sure to be a magical one for your family as you set sail for adventure on the Disney Wonder to the Western Caribbean! Cozumel is one of my favorite ports in that area because there are so many different adventures from which to choose.

I highly recommend the Cozumel Highlights and Mayan Ruins adventure for your family if you're not interested in going to a beach. My son was four at the time we visited the ruins on our Port Adventure and he absolutely loved it, which to be honest, shocked me! It was not much of a walk from the motorcoach into the ruins, but once inside, we went on a short tour then had time to further explore on our own. He thought is was so much fun climbing the areas where he was allowed to climb, running the grounds and I think he learned quite a bit along the way. As adults, we learned a whole lot about this ancient culture, and could truly appreciate what we were experiencing. So, I'd say this is a great adventure for all ages. Plus, you'll get a gorgeous tour on your motorcoach of the island, which is an adventure in itself. You might want to pack some paper and crayons for your little one to keep him or her busy on the bus, but keep your own ears open, because if your tour guide was like ours, he'll have quite a bit to share with you as you ride. I can't believe how much I learned while we toured the entire island with beautiful views! Just be sure to have a few bottles of water on hand because it gets very hot!

I hope that idea helps as you continue planning, Becky! Let me know if you have other questions before you set sail!
