We leave for WDW in 7 days for our 1st visit with 2 boys(7 & 12) I'm trying to get ideas about necessary items to put in our backpacks while we are in the parks? I have sunscreen and handsanitizer so far, but that's it, we have MYW. Ideas?

    Hi Christian,

Some guests enter the parks with no extra gear at all, but I'm definitely a "be prepared" girl. Seem of the items I often bring into the parks with me are:

    - sunscreen
    - sunglasses
    - rain poncho or umbrella
    - cell phone and charger
    - camera, extra memory card, extra battery
    - first aid items
    - water bottle
    - small snacks
    - list of dining reservations
    - light sweater for chilly restaurants
    - Disney guide books
    - small toys to keep kids occupied in lines
    - tissues
    - extra zip top bags
    - hand sanitizer

You may not find that you need all that. But that's what works for me.

Happy packing and have a great visit to Walt Disney World!
