Do we leave the kid at home

Hello Kenneth and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have been pondering your question "Do we leave the kid at home?" for some time now. There have been a few times in our Disney traveling lives that we have asked the same question.  When our children were very young, we wondered "Should we leave the kid at home?" because we were not sure if they could and would appreciate the experience.  When our children were teenagers, there were times when we asked "Should we leave the kid at home?" because an emotional, hormonal teen is not always the best traveling companion. And then, we have wondered "Do we leave the kid at home?" when we were looking to enjoy more adult activities such as Jellyrolls or Trader Sam's Grog Grotto.

We have answered both ways- "Yes! Let's leave the kid(s) at home so we can more easily enjoy the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival". and "Nope, gotta bring the kid because we will be sad without him!" In other words, there is no perfect answer to this question. But, whatever you decide, you can make magic at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Good luck with your decision and if you have more questions come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne

PS: If you are referring to a young goat, also known as a "kid," yes...please leave the kid at home.
