We leave on the 12th with our 2 grandsons one of which is exactly 40". Do you know if you can go into guest services and have him measured and get some kind of a wristband showing that he is 40"? Thanks!

    Hi Pamela!

Oh how I wish wristbands were available!  My son JUST hit the 40" mark as we discovered this yesterday at Magic Kingdom.  We celebrated by letting him pick a special ride pin for each ride he was tall enough to go on.

I was told by a Cast Member at Stitch's Great Escape that the Cast Member who lets you onto a ride vehicle has the final say if your child meets the height requirement.  Basically, if they can run a finger between the top of your child's head and the bottom of the measuring stick, you are a no-go.  This is of course because of safety precautions on various rides.  Make sure your grandson's are standing straight up and if they are truly 40" inches, they should have no problem riding a "big kid" ride.

    Have a magical vacation!
