So we leave in 4 days and I have lost my debit card.... new one coming but it will not be here before we leave! Will I be able to use my husbands debit card for his account without him being present? He is not going on trip? I am not on that account.

Hi Brandie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You will be arriving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a few days! Yay! I know how exciting it is to be this close to a visit at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" and also how busy it can be to make all of the last-minute arrangements! Trust me, it will all be worth it when you are immersed in the fun!

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and have your MagicBands for your stay, you can go online and link a credit or debit card to the account by completing Online Check-In. This will allow you to connect your husband's card to the account, then set up a PIN number so you can charge your purchases to that card.

For non-Disney Resort hotel stays, you may be asked to show identification when using your husband's debit card. I can't really remember a time when I have been asked for identification while using a debit card on my Disney vacations, but it is a possibility. To avoid this, I suggest purchasing Disney Gift Cards prior to leaving for your vacation. These can be found at many retailers, including grocery stores, and will let you make purchases without any identification. My family often uses Disney Gift Cards to help us stay on budget during our trips. We also take a little cash with us, just in case.

I hope this helps and that you have the BEST vacation, Brandie! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
