When are the least busy times to visit Walt Disney World?

    Hi Deena,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I am happy to help you think about planning your Walt Disney World vacation!

While there are always guests at Walt Disney World, there are times of year when you will find there to be fewer guests. These tend to be times when children are in school, and when there are not major holidays. Many travelers tend to head to Walt Disney World when school is out of session, which tends to be over holidays.

A couple of times of year that tend to be less busy are September and late January into early February. Of these options, if you are able, I recommend September. The weather still tends to be warm and summer-like, while being a bit cooler than at the height of summer. During September you will also find one of my favorite Disney events of the year, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This festival includes booths with international cuisine to sample, great culinary demonstrations, concerts, and so much more!

Do remember that at any time of year, there will be other guests at Walt Disney World. Be sure to plan using My Disney Experience and make your Disney dining and Disney FastPass+ selections ahead of time for a smooth experience while you are on vacation.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Deena! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
