Are the laundry machines in CBR still coin operated or can I use MagicBand to charge to room now? Thanks!

    Hi Diana,

There are 24-hour self-service laundry facilities in each of the 6 villages at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You'll find one laundry facility in the Aruba village, and 2 in all of the other villages. These convenient laundry rooms are located near the quiet pools. What is great about that, is that you can do any laundry you may have accumulated during your trip while the family enjoys some pool time too!

The machines are not yet set up to accept payment via MagicBands. However, they do take credit cards and debit cards. As of today, washers and dryers are available for $3.00 per wash load, and another $3 per dry load. Furthermore, you may purchase a laundry facility card for $7.00 at the front desk. For each card purchased, you'll have access to one wash and one dry cycle. Not only that, but you'll be receiving a text message alerting you when your laundry is finished.

There are numerous washers and dryers at the laundry facilities in each village, so if yours are all taken, you can move to the one next door. However, before you do, please check washer and dryer availability on "Laundry View" (www.laundrywomen.com/disneyworld/). Oh, and each facility will have vending machines that sell laundry soap for about $1.00 per single-use packets. A typical wash cycle will last anywhere between 20-30 minutes, while a typical dry cycle will be around 40-50 minutes long.

I hope you found this information useful, Diana. Please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We'll be happy to spread pixie-dust on all of your vacation plans!

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
