With the latest promo, staying at Port Orleans is not much more than AoA (our original plan). Traveling with 4 yr old & 21 mo old. Which resort would you recommend? Would the decor at AoA be better than staying at a nicer resort? Thank you!

Hi, Laurie!  In my humble opinion, there is absolutely no contest! Given your kids' ages, the Art of Animation Resort is the place for you!  Staying there, as my family and I did in October, you feel immersed in the movies.  You feel as though you become part of the Little Mermaid, Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars movies.  The larger-than-life themes are amazing! There are three swimming pools.  The Big Blue Pool is the largest, and it has three sections: the actual pool (swim underwater to hear sounds from Finding Nemo), the School Yard wet play area, and Squirt's Righteous Reef (play area with no water) . There are also two smaller pools, located in the Cars (Cozy Cone Pool) and The Little Mermaid (Flippin Fins Pool) courtyards.  Your kids might also like the playground area in the Lion King section called the Elephant Graveyard. While the moderate Resorts like Port Orleans are nice, I believe your kids would enjoy Art of Animation so much more. Your first instinct was correct! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
