Hi!! We have a late flight and there won't be anything open to eat. I noticed there is a McDonald's at the airport that's open 24 hours. Cam food be brought on magical express?

Hello Ashley, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

Disney’s Magical Express is one of my favorite ways to begin my trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. It is the hassle-free and comfortable way to begin your trip. I am happy to tell you that Disney’s Magical Express runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no need to rush yourself getting to the Welcome Center. If you would like to take a moment and catch a bite before you board the motorcoach, that is fine, we will be ready when you are.

You may want to check with the driver before boarding the motorcoach. I remember during the safety videos that there is no eating or drinking permitted onboard the motorcoach. Policies and procedures can change, but the safety of all guests is the priority of the driver. Keep in mind if you arrive after 10:00 p.m. you will need to pick up your luggage from baggage claim and bring it with you to the motorcoach. The driver will assist you with loading and unloading it for your ride to your resort. It may be a little bit too much to juggle carrying your dinner and your luggage at the same time. So you can take your time and grab something to eat at one of the many restaurants that remain open at Orlando International Airport. Don’t forget to pack your MagicBands in a carry on bag, just in case. You will need them to check-in with a Cast Member at the Magical Express Welcome Center. I hope that answers your question. If you need any more help before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
