Last visit 20yrs ago--trying to find an attraction with a moving movietheater-like setting that turned and took you through prehistoric dinosaur ages. Is that still around? What is DisneyQuest? Keep seing the name but can't find info on it.

    Hi Christa,

A lot has changed at Disney World in the past 20 years. The attraction you are speaking of is still there but has undergone some changes. The Universe of Energy opened in Epcot in 1982. The pre-show area featured a short film presentation. From there Guests boarded special ride vehicles that took them through the rest of the attraction making stops along the way.

It was reimagined in 1996 and is now called Ellen's Energy Adventure featuring Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Nye 'The Science Guy,' Alex Trebek, Jamie Lee Curtis & Johnny Gilbert. There is still a pre-show film before you board the special ride vehicles. This journey takes you through the creation of the universe where you'll see & hear the explosive Big Bang. Then you'll travel around, between & under giant dinosaurs. Your journey will take you far above Earth with satellites & atoms. Finally, you'll explore a future filled with fusion power.

DisneyQuest is located in the Downtown Disney area. This is an interactive theme park featuring one-of-a-kind gaming experiences. There are 5 different floors that include electronic Disney innovation & imagination, including virtual reality, 3D encounters & classic video games from the past. This is a "must do" if you have any gamers in your family.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
