Hello, our last visit was in1999. I don't know where to start. We are bringing our 5 yr old Grandson for the first time. We want to see it all. Any suggestions? We are staying 5 days.

    Hi Debbie:

To answer the age-old "where do I begin?" question, my first piece of advice is to order the Disney Vacation Planning DVD, which will give you an overview of Disney World's four amazing theme parks, two incredible water parks and more than 20 magnificent Disney Resort hotels, as well as give you family vacation planning tips and details about special events in Disney Parks in Florida.

I would also take advantage of Disney's "My Disney Vacation" planning tool to help you create an itinerary of must-see attractions and entertainment. Also look at Disney World's FAQ page for answers to frequently asked Guest questions.

Although a lot of information to take in, the sooner you start planning the better, especially since you can start making Advance Dining Reservations 180-days in advance. It's likely that after a few minutes browsing these websites, you'll find that planning a Disney vacation is a lot more fun than intimidating.

I would pace yourself. There is no way to "see it all" at Walt Disney World in 5 days. Here are some of my family's must-dos: among many other things: at the Magic Kingdom, we always ride the Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, and it's a small world. At Epcot, we take in Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, and tour the countries of World Showcase. Our must-dos at Hollywood Studios include Toy Story Mania and Muppet Vision 3-D. At Animal Kingdom, our family always rides the Kilimanjaro Safari and visits The Boneyard and Conservation Station. As you enter the parks, pick up a Times Guide for parades and show schedules throughout the day.

    Enjoy your vacation.
