Hi on our last visit we were able to convert 1 QS credit to 3 snack credits. We were on the DDP. Thinking of using DxDP this Fall, will we be able to convert 1 meal to 3 snack credits on the deluxe plan? Thanks,

    Hi Amy!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question about the Disney Dining Plan! My husband and I are big fans of the dining plan - it's convenient, easy, and we love not having to pull out our wallets at every meal. We're able to enjoy meals and snacks at locations all around Walt Disney World Resort, and can include the dining plan as part of our Magic Your Way Vacation Package with our theme park tickets and Resort hotel stay - easy peasy!

I'm happy to hear you're also a fan of the Disney Dining Plan, and are planning to use it on your upcoming vacation. Since a few changes have been made to the 2017 dining plan, I wanted to clarify the information about exchanging Quick Service meal credits for snack credits.

For the 2017 dining plan, each Quick-Service meal includes (for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner):
    • One (1) Entrée
    • One (1) Nonalcoholic Beverage

In previous years, a Quick Service meal also included one (1) dessert. With the elimination of the dessert option on Quick Service meals in 2017, Guests may still exchange a QS meal credit for snacks at Disney owned and operated restaurants, however it would be two entitlements instead of the previous three (with a limit of two exchanges per day of stay). We like to use any snack credits we have left over to take some delicious Walt Disney World Resort treats home from our vacation. Chocolate-dipped rice krispy treat, anyone?

I hope this helps with your planning! Please let us know if you have any more questions before your trip - we're happy to help. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
