    Tawn from PA Asked

Hi! Last trip was in Dec 2011. Would like to visit in Spring 2013. Which is the best month to go for lower crowd levels? Does WDW normally offer free dining at that time of year? We are also hoping for cooler weather. Sorry, a lot of questions. Thx. :)

    Hi there, Tawn!

We are always happy to answer your questions -- there's no such thing as "too many" Disney queries!

After President's Day weekend in February, attendance gradually starts to creep up and peaks around Easter Week. Starting in mid-March, you'll see more and more Spring Breakers coming to spend fun family time at Walt Disney World.

To that end, if you are able to come between President's Day and mid-March, you'll have most of your logistical criteria met: lower crowds and cooler temperatures,

Mousesavers.com, an unaffiliated third-party Web site has a great list of historical data for Disney offers dating back several years (find it right here: http://www.mousesavers.com/historical-information-on-walt-disney-world-resort-discounts/). The list includes both offer windows and the dates on which the offer were released.

According to this list the bulk of free dining is found in the fall, but it is not unheard-of to find these promotions elsewhere in the calendar year (2011 saw a free dining promotion from 2/27-3/03, for example).

Happy planning - and we're always here to help!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
