    Margaret Asked

last day (checkout) plane leaves at 5:40pm..we want to visit DTD. how long of a bus ride from All Star Movies to DTD. we will checkout around 9am do we have time to go to DTD and be back for the bus to the airport? can we use unused meals day of checkout?

    Hi Margaret!

You sound a lot like me!  I like to squeeze as much Disney magic in as possible:)

You should be able to make it to Downtown Disney in no longer than 45 minutes from your resort.  The time will vary based on how long you have to wait for a bus, but they are supposed to run every 15 minutes to pick you up.

You have to check in for your Magical Express bus back to the airport at least 3 hours before your flight time.  (be sure to check that detail as it is subject to change)  This means you would need to be back to the resort by around 3:30 p.m.  Assuming you check out at 9 a.m., get to Downtown Disney by 10 a.m., then head back to the bus stop at 2:30 p.m., that would give you plenty of time to explore Downtown Disney!  I think you should do it!

And yes, you can use your remaining credits on your day of check-out.  So, if you have meals left, there are plenty of restaurants at Downtown Disney to use them!

I hope this helps!  Have a great trip and let us know if you have any other questions.
