Hi! I have a large trip which I am paying on already for May of 2020. My daughter and i may be going in October and are considering purchasing annual passes. Can these be used for discounts on the trip I am already paying for?

Hello there, Vicki! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

Becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder is the beginning of a year full of adventure! In addition to gaining access to four massive theme parks, Guests will also receive a wide variety of exclusive perks. Some of these include discounts of merchandise, advance FastPass+ reservations, complimentary standard parking at all four theme parks, and so much more! One of my all-time favorite extras is the special offers available on select Disney Resort hotels. I cannot tell you how many times my family and I have taken advantage of this during our years as Walt Disney World Annual Passholders!

Applying special offers to pre-existing Disney Resort hotel reservations is definitively possible but will require a bit of research on your end! Special offers are only available at select Disney Resort hotels so, if your previously made reservation is included in the current special offers, you can simply apply any Annual Passholder special offers to your current reservation. If the Disney Resort hotel you currently have reservations at is not included in the special offers, you can always switch around which Disney Resort hotel you are staying at to one that is included. I've done this on multiple occasions and always treat it as an opportunity to try out a Disney Resort hotel or room category I have not yet experienced!

Hopefully, this information will assist you in making your decision to become a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder!
