i have a large party consisting of 9 adults and 5 kids wanting to go to disney world june 10 through 14th. what would it be a cost effective way to have fun without breaking the bank.

Hi, Rhonda!  You don't give the ages of the children, but there are some options you might want to consider.

First, children aged two and under do not count towards room maximums, so if a room has a maximum occupancy of six guests, you could have seven in there if one is two or younger.  This might help you accommodate more people in fewer rooms.

Look into family suites, which you'll find at the new Art of Animation resort or at the All Star Music resort.  These can accommodate up to six guests, and each has two bathrooms, a small refrigerator, and a microwave, which will help save time and money by enabling you to prepare some quick meals for breakfast or lunch.  These suites have a master bedroom with a king bed, and three fold out options in the living room area.

Another option might be the Fort Wilderness cabins, which also accommodate up to six people.  These have full kitchens, plus a charcoal grill and deck for you to do some of your own meal prepartions.  The Disney Vacation Club resorts also offer accommodations for larger families, although you may not find those as cost effective.

    Have a great vacation!
