How does a large group decide where to stay? we are a group of 9, ( 3 families ) so we are thinking 3 rooms.. only 1 family has kids.. they like the new Pirate rooms in CBR, but that looks like a long walk. we can't decide.. help this will be Sept. 2012

    Hi Jone,

When deciding where to stay on vacation, large group or not, take in consideration the following:

    • Ages of the group-small child and a stroller or frequent trips to the resort during the day-stay closer to the parks and reduce your travel by a day to afford it. Less time to and from the parks makes for a more enjoyable trip.
    • Budget-vacation is great but make sure everyone can afford to stay at the same place. I have stayed at a different resort than my friends but you can waste time trying to coordinate meeting times.
    • All for one and one for all-would you like some privacy or the experience of staying all in one room. A villa is great to house everyone together and there is some privacy to get space if you need it.
You can easily stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort in the pirate rooms. They are not that far from the food court and the main pool if I remember correctly.

If you all want to be near one another, have one person book the reservation and ask for adjoining rooms.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
