Cinderella Royal Table

    We're landing in MCO at 7am on 10/1 and taking Magical Express to Pop Century. If we have an 8:55am Cinderella's Royal Table reservation, can we make it in time? If not, what's WDW Dining Reservation policy so I know if I should cancel?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Thank you for sending such a good question. Looking at your timings, I think this will be tight but I totally understand that Cinderella's Royal Table is a popular event and it could be tricky to change the reservation.  It is also a pre-paid event, and states that cancellations may result in charges if made with insufficient notice (and cancelling on the same day would definitely incur charges). 

    So, let's go through the options and see if we can make it work.  Realistically you should allow 60-90 minutes from the time you check-in at Disney's Magical Express until you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel.  We have to allow time for luggage to be loaded, other Guests to arrive for the bus, and there may be a stop at other Disney Resort hotels before you arrive at Disney's Pop Century Resort.  Then there's check-in at your hotel, and travelling time to Magic Kingdom Park.  If you were taking Disney Transport to Magic Kingdom Park, it is recommended you allow at least 60-90 minutes, it is also advised that you arrive there at least 5-10 minutes before the time of your reservation. You have less than two hours from the time you land, until the time you need to be checking-in for breakfast.  I think the only way this would work is if you take a taxi from Orlando International Airport to Disney's Pop Century Resort, and leave your carry-on luggage with Bell Services, and then take a taxi or a Minnie Van to your breakfast reservation. Or take a taxi or Minnie Van from Orlando Airport straight to Magic Kingdom Park. In this case I would definitely recommend using a Minnie Van as these are the only cars permitted to take you right to the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park which will save you some time (regular taxis must drop you at the Transportation and Ticket Center, from where you take a monorail or Ferryboat to the entrance of the park).  If everything runs smoothly, your flight is not delayed, and your Minnie Van is waiting for you, this might be the only way this would work.  However, if you can change your dining reservation, I think this will make it a much more relaxed experience for you!  The dining reservations number to call is (407) 939-3463.

    Reservations for the Minnie Van Service can be made by using the Lyft app on your smartphone.  These distinctive vehicles are driven by knowledgeable and friendly Disney Cast Members and can accommodate up to 6 people, and have two child seats if required.  The Lyft app will also display the cost of using this service.
