Hi Ladies, I just purchased tix for MNSSHP but I was wondering do I need a ticket for my son who will turn 2 the day before? Also what is the best time to arrive? Should we do rides first or Trick or Treat? Thanks

    Nicole,

No, you do not need to buy a ticket for a child under 3. Savings for you!

I think that you should get there just after 4. More time in the park means you are getting more out of your ticket dollar. Plus, it is fun to get some rides done before the real Halloween vibe kicks into high gear.

As for trick or treating, I would suggest that you try to get a few visits in early, as soon as you see them opening up the lines. The lines can get pretty long, especially as the night wears on. Since many of the secluded locales back by the old Toontown area are now gone, that means more people in the lines elsewhere. One note is that if you are there late (which with a 2-year old I am guessing you will not be), the lines can drop off in the last hour or two.

But think about this. You are not getting some super-special candy. I recommend getting that done early just so that you can spend more of your evening on rides, and enjoying the public entertainment events. Don't waste your time chasing penny candy that you could buy in the barrel-full for what you paid for your party tickets, when so many great shows and attractions are nearby.

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
