Hi Krista! We went to WDW last year for the first time and didn't add the Water Park Option to our package-- we didn't think we'd have the time. We would like to add it this time, but will only have time to visit one...which one would you suggest and why?

Hi, Danielle! Typhoon Lagoon is my pick.  It is the most popular water park in the world for good reason! My kids and husband love this park, too!  Crush'n'Gusher is my kids' absolute favorite water park attraction. The Ketchakiddee Creek area is great! This play area for kids can keep them entertained for hours with slides, fountains, and water cannons. It is also a good place for building sandcastles. You can also swim with the sharks at Shark Reef. The surf pool at Typhoon Lagoon is the largest one in the world, and you can be as daring or as hesitant as you want because there is a long, gentle slope into the pool for the smaller kids to still be able to get in on the action.  Cross Country Creek lazy river circles the park. The tropical environment is so beautiful, and there are MANY other attractions I'm not even mentioning here.  Typhoon Lagoon gets my vote!

Just one thing to consider though: if you're just spending ONE day in ONE of the water parks, it is more cost effective to purchase one-day water park tickets for the one you choose.  If you are going to water parks more than one day, want to visit both water parks, or are also thinking of visiting DisneyQuest or golfing, then  you need to add the Water Parks Fun and More option to your package. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
