Hi Krista, Another HDDR question. If we are coming from DTD (Disney Quest) and decide to take a cab to HDDR, is it best to get dropped off at MK (closer to HDDR) or Fort Wilderness (will we have to take internal bus to HDDR?) Cab cost approx? Many thx

Hello again, Jana! Coming from DisneyQuest, I would go straight to the Fort Wilderness Campground.  Yes, you will have to take the internal transportation, but I think that will still be faster than the boat or bus ride from the Magic Kingdom.

I have never hired a cab at Walt Disney World, so I asked my fellow panelists about the cost.  The Dads on the panel (Thanks Marc and Angelo!!) really came through for me here.  Remember that individual trip costs vary depending on the number of stop lights, wait times, total distance, etc.... One Dad reports that a one-way taxi ride between places on Disney property is roughly $20, including tip.  Another volunteered that on his last trip one of his rides was $28, without tip. So, there are two ballpark figures.  Your costs may be higher or lower than these two figures.  Sorry, I'm just not an expert on this topic at all.

Thanks for your follow-up question.  Have a Magical vacation!
