Hi Krista...my family is coming down 2nd week of June and staying at Pop Centrury. We upgraded to preferred room trying to be close to the main areas, but in that is there a better building, side, floor, etc to help with the pool crowd noise ?

Hi, Kendal! I've never stayed at the Pop Century resort, so I had to go to my fellow panelists on this one.  I know that when my family and I stay at the All-Star Resorts, we would rather walk just a little bit farther and be away from the pool noise.  It is worth it, and we don't pay the upgrade for preferred rooms.  It seems like this might be a good guideline for Pop Century, too.  Joel K. says that the loudest areas are on ground level near the Hippy Dippy Pool (the 60's decade).  He  likes the ground floor in the 50's, 60's, or 70's. Marc L. tells us that the rooms that face away from the pool areas are the quietest, especially the ones on the Hourglass Lake side.  Amanda P. and Joel agree with my family, and they don't pay for preferred rooms either.  Amanda notes that they are usually MORE noisy.  Whatever you decide, be sure to call the Resort between 24 to 48 hours before arrival.  Verify that your preferences have been noted.  This is when room assignments are being made.  Then double-check during the check-in process. Have a Magical vacation!
