I know my 2 yr old daughter would LOVE to have lunch or tea with the Princesses but I wonder if her twin brother would enjoy it, too. Do boys go these things, too? Or is there something else for boys, maybe with Woody/Buzz or Lightning McQueen?

    Hi, Carin!

    What a great question!

I think the best advice I can give you on this one is consider your own child's personality and decide accordingly. When my little guy was 2, for example, he loved the attention the princesses gave to him at the princess meals we'd arranged for his big sister. He'd flirt, smile, bat his eyelashes at them as each princess left a lipstick print on a different spot on his face. (We pressed those prints on the appropriate princess's autograph page, took a photo of his kissed-up face and placed that photo in the book as well. It's still one of my favorite collections!)

Two years later, however, he was insistent that no princesses kiss him. He'd reached the age of embarrassment at being fussed over, so we simply sat him at the table in a seat where a stealth kiss from an approaching princess could not be done. As such, decide where your son lies on that range of comfort with interacting with these special ladies.

We also loved Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. There, the hilarious interactions between Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins and The Mad Hatter kept everyone at the table entertained. Dining at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh and Friends is another excellent option, as is any meal at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, where Mickey and Pals greet Guests throughout your meal.

Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll find Disney Junior Play 'n Dine, where you'll find Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, June from Disney's Little Einsteins and others at breakfast and lunch. Search "character dining" on WDW's website for even more options.

Send more questions as you think of them, Carin; I'd love to help!
